A  federal law makes it illegal to attempt to “deprive or defraud” people of a “fair and impartially conducted election process.”

Georgia has a state law against “criminal solicitation to commit election fraud.”

The GA team repeatedly said Trump's numbers were wrong. So much so it wasn't worth including every quote. It will be more beneficial for you to click the other tabs and read their arguments on why Trump's numbers are wrong for each issue.

The most important information explaining this mistake comes from Cleta Mitchel, one of Trump's lawyers. She states that Trump's team cross referenced the voter registry with obituaries, looking at two pieces of data: Birth year and Name.

For example.

Two people born in the same year can have the same name. In fact there are 38,000 people in the USA with the name James Smith. The Trump team made an incorrect assumption that no two people born in the same year could have the same name.

Those 5,000 'dead voters' are merely living voters with the same names and birth years of people who had died

Trump's team only had data of people who had left Georgia. They didn't have data on how many of those people came back. So Trump's team incorrectly assumed these people had all voted out-of-state, when in reality they had just moved back.

The GA team have provided all answers to this complex event. I will provide a breakdown below, but feel free to view some of these sources.

Trump was wrong, or intentionally misleading, about the lack of a water main break. A urinal overflowed causing substantial water damage as seen in this screenshot (watch full video in the second link above). The image below shows the water damage discovered at 5:23 AM that morning.

Cleta Mitchell, Trump's lawyer, even says she doesn't know anything about this.

The investigation proved there was no triple scanning, and the mistake was simply because the Trump team didn't understand repeat scanning can be a part of the normal process when there is a machine glitch.

A big part of the Trump team's argument, outlined in this video, is that a woman hid ballots under a table for them to be counted when everyone was gone.

But later on in the video we see a man adjust the table, and can see nothing underneath.

Trump argues that they pulled ballots out of an unofficial container (other lawyers have called it a suitcase). This is untrue, the circled box is an official sealed container for ballots. It is the same container we see all over the ballot counting facility in this shot.

This is the most legitimate argument from the Trump campaign.

So what happened? Late at night the counters were told they were going home, so everyone packed up and the poll watchers left. But then a higher-up called and said the counting needed to continue. So the counters went back to work, and there was a delay before all the poll watchers could get in their cars and make it back.

However, poll watchers were present during the packed down and every camera angle has been reviewed to ensure the chain of custody for every container of ballots. Put simply, even though there were no poll watches for that time, the cameras have provided the same result.

Any situation can look strange or suspect if you over analyze it, or are desperately looking to find something that isn't there. The Trump team saw footage of people pulling ballots out from under a table and counting them, and thought this was suspicious.

It is completely normal. It is the usual process in a vote counting facility. Ballots are sealed, stored in multiple places, and then counted.

And even if it wasn't normal, this tape has been scrutinized over and over by multiple external bodies frame by frame who all found no wrong doing.

Trump doesn't have the evidence required to actually prove the 11,780 counts of voter fraud he needs. So instead he throws baseless arguments out for 500,000 counts of voter fraud. This is an attempt to say, 'well at least 1% of them must be true'. In reality, none are true.

This is a simplistic negotiating tactic. You offer to sell a used car for 100 million dollars, in the the hope the buyer will suddenly think $100,000 is actually reasonably.

In reality. 500,000 unproven claims of voter fraud does not equal 12,000 proven claims of voter fraud. It equals zero. Every claim must be proven.

Trump likes to couch his lies in hedging language such as 'maybe', 'I heard' and 'someone told me'. Perhaps the most egregious of these was 'that's what the rumor is'.

This is his tactic to tell the lie, but know that if he is held accountable for the lie he can always claim that he, 'didn't really say that'.

The most famous example of this was his claim that it was 'just a retweet'.

It's against the law to provide private voter details to a campaign. Voting is anonymous for a reason.

It is true that many of the Trump campaign's election fraud accusation mistakes were because they were acting on incomplete data. However that is not a valid reason to expect private citizen data that is protected by law. If you're a Trump supporter then ask yourself, how would you feel if after the 2016 election Hillary Clinton was given complete access to the personal information of everyone who voted for Trump? You wouldn't like it, because it's a violation of checks and balances.

Furthermore, the GA team are not "hiding" anything. They have been transparent in every stage of their investigation and utilized external bodies such as  both the G.B.I. and the F.B.I.

Additionally, these quotes prove that Trump's team knew they had incomplete data. Yet they still told their supporters that they were 100% certain of their claims, even though they clearly weren't. This was irresponsible and dangerous.
